I just saw today this great video. Saw it first on Facebook and couldn't leave it without adding my own opinion to it.
Looking at the video you go from one conclusion to the other, and as explained by the little alien guy we live in a world that is ruled by people who don't really care much anymore about people's situation in today's society, about their well fare, their social situation, health aso. and we still follow them...
What happens is:
- People becoming politicians start lying, killing, stealing from their own people
- Every single of them starts looking only at their own interest
- If you don't do what they say then you are done. Forget that they'll care why you said NO
- If you have money or the knowledge to blackmail or pay everyone around you to get wherever you wish the lights are green. If you are only one regular person such as most of the rest is more likely you get either: beaten up, or in a worst scenario you end up in jail or very last: someone will knock you out from the ring of livings.
- Government sells the land of their own under the name "privatization", this way ensuring that many people become jobless
- The control over certain industries lies in hands of people who care only about money and they aren't anyways from that country so one more extra reason to not care (and in worst case about putting our country/ us in more debt)
- Health industry (and not just) becomes a mess because someone (politician) gets an offer from a firm usually- from which they get a share of a pity amount, though seems huge for that moment - and for that as I always say: they will sell even their own mother for one penny by introducing systems that weren't tested and also have nothing to do on that market (yet) and well just puts an other stamp on sheeps. Instead of making the extra effort to renovate hospitals, provide work place for health industry workers (and not just) as well better living conditions for everyone...
All this happens under the cover of "Government". We are humans, are equal yet we have to live in fear and do things that we don't like or see the point of it, just because money talks, or some "talk"...
Bringing further this case. As the guy explains in this video we elect politicians with the hope that they'll represent our interest by getting in that position, they will be fair and frank enough to honestly wisely deal with their power, yet they don't. The funniest part is that we live in a democracy (US, RO and many other countries all around the world - that's what we hear) and if we wish to ensure that the person representing us if becoming corrupt (that's obvious when it happens, believe me), leaves the chair asap and we elect someone new instead, it can't happen. We have two options mainly: we wait till the 4/5 year position s/he has been elected for finishes and till then s/he continues, stealing, becoming more corrupt, lying and living back with its power, or we do a mass revolution and people get hurt for idiots that we shouldn't waste energy for. Why is that only the politicians who have problems with each other can ask for emergency voting to get rid of someone and if a simple citizen tries it, there is noooo way it happens (within the next couple of years certainly not) unless it serves the interest on the top of someone (that judge, politician, counselor gets big amount of money from the deal one way or an other)? Is this democracy?? Noo just bullsh*...
Yes, I could easily say this is this or that country but unfortunately even it happens everywhere not only in the most corrupt countries in the EU.
One solution could be electing politicians for 1 or 2 years only and if they do their job well then reelect for an other couple of years by the people of their country! Why do bow the system when it works against you? Of course this doesn't mean you have to burn it up, that's not a solution either but still you most certainly look for your own way out.
If sales people have a scale of performance and ways to measure the performance why can't they work out one that does the same with politicians? Actually the answer is simple to all my questions: THEY DON'T WANT TO.
Anyway until we have so many sheeps the show will go on either ways...
